Information Technology Support Technician - Secret Clearance

Title: Information Technology Support Technician

Location:Fort Knox, Kentucky

Must have an active Secret Clearance

Requirements:
-Perform analytical, evaluation and maintenance duties in support of: network administration, local, and wide area network system components to include servers, desktop workstations configuration, PC, software, and peripherals.
-Responsible for ultimately ensuring functionality of automated data processing and communications equipment.
-Serve as a technician for trouble calls relating to the user, associated network systems, file servers, and the network hardware and/or software.
-Provide, implement, and/or coordinate solutions to reported and discerned problems.
-Perform network and database administrative responsibilities to include system hardware component and software installation, configuration, and operation.
-Manage network server memory/disk storage to include maintenance of hard disk space allocation.
-Provide/implement recommendation(s) on system changes and operational procedures needed to increase efficiency.
-Develop and maintain a logical and physical network component resource inventory.
-Maintain record copies of system/equipment software disks and documentation.
-Administer network client accounts to include establishment and deletion of systme and mail accounts.
-Maintain IP scheme and the log of all locations and addresses.
-Administer network security to include system access control and anti virus protection.
-Provide a written activity report every week on actions taken during the week.
-Experience supporting and maintaining Windows networks including Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, Windows OS (XP/2000/2003).

Clearance required: Secret
