Indentity Management Operations Engineer

Description:Job Summary:As an Identity Management Operations Engineer you are part of a team that is responsible for operating NetApp's Identity and Access Management infrastructure and core applications. You will work with IT operations, application, network, security, and other teams to support NetApps Global Information Systems. You will apply your understanding of identity and access management to support account provisioning, entitlement management, and audit reporting. You will be expected to make sound judgments and escalate issues within the appropriate organizations as needed.Essential Functions: - Work with a global identity management team to provide world class identity and access management.- Provide operational support for user account provisioning and entitlement management for a global organization.- Provide second level and on-call support to IT service desk and application teams for account access, password, and other identity issues.- Work with members of application support and security staff on identity and security related incidents and problems.- Provide operational support for audit and access management reporting needs.- Perform periodic audit reporting for SOX and other corporate compliance needs.- Design and execute test plans for identity and access management systems.- Document and improve operational processes and procedures.- Analyze, test, and debug applications.- Problem diagnosis and resolution.- Ensure client satisfaction and client management.- Reporting to customers and management on status, resources needs, and projected outcomes.- Mentorship and training of junior Information Systems Engineers by more senior members of the team on processes and tools.Education and Experience:- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; 6 to 8 years of experience is preferred. - A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related field is required; or equivalent experience.- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.Qualifications:Requirements:- Previous experience with Identity and Access Management products from one of the following vendors: Sun, Oracle, CA (Netegrity), IBM, Mtech, Courion required.- Previous experience Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite a strong plus.- Unix and Windows NT/2000 system administration skills.- Working knowledge of enterprise directories such as Active Directory and LDAP.- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, including network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, etc., and various commonly used protocols.- Strong documentation skills, including test plans, operational procedures and audit results documentation.- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions in a global organizational context.- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to technical or non-technical audiences.- Customer-focused and service-oriented.- Strong sense of professionalism and ethics.- Understanding of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, SFA.- Understanding of roles for operational and enterprise applications.- Understanding of ITIL processes and concepts such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.- ITIL Foundation and Service Support certification a strong plus.- Creative approach to problem solving.- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines.Responsibility and Interaction:Responsibility: - The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.- This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.Interaction: - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects.
