IT jobs USA: Junior Technical Architect

The Technical Analyst will support multiple areas of a project including: interfaces, data conversion, and as-needed infrastructure support. The resource will move across areas of the project providing support as the project continues to evolve and progress through both the project and system development life cycle.



For the area of conversion, the analyst will be charged with supporting the conversion of data associated with each major project release. These data conversions will vary in size and complexity for each release and will involve major conversion efforts to support the development of master indexes for a series of systems.



The analyst will participate in activities including the development and execution of conversion plans for each release. In addition, the analyst will complete analysis of current and proposed data structures to best support the execution of each release. The analyst will also focus in areas including data mapping and conversion specification and the development of conversion programs. Lastly, the resource will participate in automated and manual data conversion and the cleansing of data.



The analyst will also be involved in developing technical documentation to support the system development life cycle. The resource will be involved in supporting the development of Technical Design Documents, System Architecture Documents, and other design documents including Use Cases.



It is beneficial that the resource have experience in the utilization of automated tools to support the conversion and data purification process. Experience in iWay Data Migrator, iWay Service Manager, and Data Quality Center are seen as a plus.
