IT Systems Administrator
Royall & Company, a forward-thinking direct response marketing firm involved in student recruitment for more than 200 colleges and universities nationwide, has an immediate opening for an IT Systems Administrator. This position is responsible for installing and maintaining our information systems’ servers and network infrastructure to ensure capacity meets or exceeds operational objectives, and assists with the design and development of server and network systems and administration procedures. Specific responsibilities include: the installation and maintenance of all server side computers, the setup and maintenance of user accounts, performing data backup operations, and helping to establish policies relative to system performance, security and data integrity. A bachelor’s degree is preferred with 2 years’ related experience and the proven ability to administer Unix/Linux and Windows. The successful candidate must have effective communication, customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
