IT Recruiter/Coordinator

Part-Time to Full-Time: (Immediate Opening)    Start date August 15,08IT Recruiter - Temporary and Contract Staffing Identifies candidates for temporary or contract staffing positions through recruiting, pre-screening, interviewing, and pre-employment testing to build an inventory of qualified potential employees to fulfill current and projected customer needs Performs reference checks. Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the recruiting function, May attend job fairs and local professional and association meetings. Is involved with the development and placing of classified advertisements. Ensures high degree of customer satisfaction by interpreting, developing, and executing work plans to satisfy customer staffing requirements. Performs appropriate follow-up. Requires a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience and/or a college degree. Reports to the Branch Manager and/or Members. Essential Duties and Job Functions: In addition to Recruiting responsibilities, this position also performs a wide variety of administrative activities in support of IT, Serves as a primary resource for data and information to the owner and Associates in a broad functional or multi-functional unit. Interprets administrative policies and procedures when responding to queries. Interfaces with owner and external parties to provide information and answer queries. Interfaces with the owner and staff in the course of meeting a wide range of administrative needs, candidates and orientation of new staff. Ongoing, acts as a resource to other project coordinators and is cross-trained to cover out of office duty such as filling in for a Staffing member that is absent. Specific Education and Experience :Good organization and time management skills along with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required. Requires working knowledge and understanding of company-wide administrative policies and procedures. Must possess the ability and experience of coordinating a variety of activities simultaneously to include interfacing with external parties. Works independently; typically work is reviewed infrequently and only for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy by participating memberTechnical Understanding ? Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design. ? Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures. ? Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities. ? Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. Knowledge or experience with recruitment principles and tools is desired. This position requires a  BS or BA/Technical degree or 2-3 years relevant experience or a AA degree.
