Our IT Operations team is seeking Tier 1 Technical Support to provide 1st level support for Help Desk and the Network Operations Center via telephone, desk-side support, and all activities associated with the identification prioritization, and resolution of reported problems, as well as ensure that all requests for support are coordinated, monitored, logged, and resolved appropriately.

Responsibilities:
ï‚· Perform help desk and desktop support as needed
ï‚· Prioritize case load based on criticality and established service level agreements
ï‚· Screen diagnose and resolve problems and help desk requests from all corporate locations submitted by
employees as they relate to general network use, personal computers and related systems, general application
help, password resets, and other computer/network related problems
ï‚· Build new desktop images and application distribution packages according to company standards
ï‚· Create and maintain Help Desk support procedures and other documentation
ï‚· Perform employee moves / transfers
ï‚· Assist with project implementation as requested
 Assist with basic telecom operations (adds, moves, changes, etc…)
ï‚· Serve as after-hours on-call support for local facility
ï‚· Work on special projects as required by Network Services Team
ï‚· Expand knowledge of current and upcoming hardware/software technologies
ï‚· Coordinate efforts with other departments to resolve user support issues
ï‚· Escalate non-technical problems (e.g. facilities) to appropriate vendor, department, or employee as needed Required ExperienceHelp Desk Support Technician Requirements:

ï‚· Minimum of 1 - 3 years of related experience
ï‚· Basic understanding of desktop computer hardware and the Windows XP operating system
ï‚· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007
ï‚· Basic understanding of common networking technologies and protocols
ï‚· Excellent troubleshooting skills
