IT Field Service Technician

Growing IT company in Yalesville Connecticut is looking for a field service technician. Candidates must be highly motivated and is able to work independently and have strong team member skills.



 

Job Purpose: 

      Serves customers by installing and serving network systems and products. 

 



Duties:  Handle a variety of field service duties from break fix to managing networks & servers. Troubleshoot network systems by analyzing and solving issues. Provide technical support to end users through remote access and onsite service calls.                   Manage networks through our Managed Services program.        Maintain rapport with customers by good communication skills; identifying solutions;  recommending system improvements. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records in a timely fashion. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications and doing research on issues.

           

 

Requirements:

    Candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years of field service experience in the    following areas:     

 

Network Security Support

Microsoft Exchange

Firewall (Sonicwall, Cisco)

Microsoft Server 2003

Active Directory and DNS
