IT Consultant / Network Administrator

Description:

Pliner Solutions, Inc. is a customer-oriented technology company located in Willow Grove, PA. We have an immediate opening for an IT Consultant.  This position will provide technical assistance, troubleshooting support and general guidance to end-users. Additionally, this person will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and general support of systems, daily operations and help desk functions.

Responsibilities:

 - Provide technical support to end users on a variety of issues including software and hardware installations and training- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems and escalate accordingly- Take and respond to support telephone calls and email requests- Document, track and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution and grow knowledgebase- Monitor mission-critical systems to ensure availability and provide daily/weekly network maintenance as required- Occasionally visit client office locations for on-site support when needed

Note: Responsibiltiies will vary based on level of experience!

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems and Office Suites- Knowledge of basic networking in a Windows-based environment

- Demonstrate organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously

- Exceptional customer service skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

-MCP, MCSA or MCSE is strongly encouraged -SQL Server, Oracle, or Cisco (CCNA) certifications are a huge plus
