IT Application Developer - 3 Month Temp-to-Perm Assignment

 

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining scalable business application tools including but not limited to: 

 .Net programming.VB.Net programming.Java programming.Create/maintain Web page using ASP.net.Create database queries and reports using SQL, PL/SQL and Crystal Report XL.Gather and document application/reporting requirements from business owners, prepare functional and technical design documents.Maintain code revision via Visual Source Safe.Maintain user reports.Maintain customer supply integration script.Maintain SQL and IIS servers.Maintain critical support and user training documents.Maintain SDLC/SOX compliance test procedures and documents.

 

 

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science with emphasis on software development.5 – 7 years of related professional experience in software development and database administration (Oracle 10G and Crystal Report XL) in a manufacturing environment.Strong experience within SQL in multiple database environments.Solid software development in development with RDMBS with ORACLE /SQL Server, ASP.Net, VB.Net, SQL, PL/SQL, Crystal Report XL and IIS web services.Hands on experience in creating database queries and reports using SQL, stored procedures, and Crystal Reports.Must have strong problem solving skills.Must be able to multi-task, and manage time constraints and make deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
