ISO Quality System Program Mgr

Description:As the Quality Systems Program Manager, you will be responsible to develop, implement, maintain, and improve an ISO 9001-2000 compliant quality management systems (QMS) required to enable the successful achievement of NetApp delivered product quality and efficiency goals. You will manage NetApps ISO9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 quality systems. Essential Functions:Responsible for planning and managing NetApps QMS, leading to product delivery, quality and cost goals. Specific areas of focus include:- Provide the necessary leadership (organization, experience and direction) to successfully sustain and improve the ISO 9001:2000/ISO14001-2004 certification and overall QMS/EMS.- Manage the program for training requirements across the organization structure.- Identification of training needs by functional role- Training records creation and database management to ensure employees training records are up-to-date. - Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality systems, including conducting investigation for and preparing responses to internal and external audits of the quality system. - Manage the internal audit process, perform gap analysis and streamline/enhance internal processes. Identify gaps in current state versus desired state and work with functional management to define and implement plans to close.- Review, revise and maintain QMS controlled documents including Quality Manual, Process Diagrams, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions and forms- Review, revise and maintain databases for Audits, Corrective Action, Preventive Action and Continual Improvement Activities - Create, maintain and report ongoing metrics to the ISO Management Representative for management review. Escalates issues to the attention of management based on severity. - Review current company practices across all functional areas against desired, ISO9001 QMS. Manage the scope of the QMS, extend coverage of uniform QMS to global facilities.- BS degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Electrical Engineering or related field, ando At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in QMS management/implementation for ISO9001-2000. ISO14001-2004 experience is a plus.- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing ISO9001:2000 internal auditing systems.- Demonstrated experience in developing, expanding a QMS across large organizations globally.- ASQ: Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification preferred.- Experience with learning management systems a plus.- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, and moderate to highly complex projects.Qualifications:- Proficient knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and ISO 14001-2004- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate on varying technical levels across the organization.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined feature and metrics requirements.- Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules for different groups as affected by the QMS- Experience with learning management systems is desirable- Ability to organize and control (and keep organized and controlled) vast amounts of data and paperwork in logical manner, enabling ready and easy access for self and coworkersResponsibility and Interaction:- The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.- This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation. - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President/Executive Staff level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties. - Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently. - To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceTo learn more about NetApp employee benefits go to: http://www.netapp.com/jobs/benefits.htmlJob Location: Sunnyvale, CAJob Number: RUSANAP2254-617576Company URL: http://www.netapp.comCompany Profile:NetApp creates innovative storage and data management solutions that help accelerate business breakthroughs and deliver outstanding cost efficiency.
