We have an immediate need for an accomplished Hitachi Solutions Pre-Sales Engineer for our Los Angeles area office in Glendale, CA.

Duties & Responsibilities
This position requires a well-rounded knowledge of Systems & Storage products and various technologies in differing environments. As a cutting-edge consulting company, FusionStorm is constantly developing and deploying the newest technologies for our clients. While we would like a broad background in any related technologies the Primary Focus of this position will be to Architect & Present Hitachi Based Solutions. Were looking for an individual who enjoys the opportunity to learn and implement multiple different technologies.

* The Sales Engineer is a key component within the Sales/Marketing/Business team; they are responsible for all technical assessment, design & presentation of technologies and services to be provided.


* Sales Engineers may be called upon to do Technical Assessments and make solutions recommendations based on best practices and best of breed technologies as well as perform on occasion, hands-on implementation (post-sales) work.


* Identifying opportunities for solutions-based and services-lead sales campaigns (i.e. Plan & Manage) - leverages appropriate consultative sales, solutions, and practice resources to execute.

* Coordinating the delivery and quality of pre sales Technology Solutions deliverables within the account which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposal inputs.

* Ability to Architect, Design & Implement Storage &/or Backup Solutions is required.

* The ability toInterface with Clients at any Management level throughout the Sales & Delivery process.

Required Experience
* 3-5yrs Exp in a Solutions Architecture or Pre-Sales Engineering Role; with direct knowledge of HDS (Hitachi) product Solution Sets.


* Strong knowledge of Solaris & Linux; as well as Symantec, Oracle and various additional Technologies is a plus.

* Experience with Virtualization & Consolidation as well as Infrastructure Engineering, Design & Architecture are highly desired but not a must.

* Certifications in various technologies is highly desirable

* We seek a Technology Savvy Architect who can speak to and work with a broad base of Technologies; someone who has implementation capabilities but mainly someone who can act as a visionary & resident authoritative resource.
