The Global Employees Communications Manager reports to the Senior Director, Learning & Development within the Human Resources organization, and manages company-wide communications programs that help employees understand and align with company business goals, initiatives, and programs. The position requires a talented, experienced, high-energy professional who thrives in a fast-paced business environment, and can design and carry out high-impact communication strategies that inform and motivate Nuance employees worldwide.

 

  RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement a comprehensive, integrated, global employee communication program.
• Consult with HR Business Partners to develop communications strategies and programs that help our business leaders communicate important division-specific messages.
• Work with senior HR team to create long-term strategy to help Nuance win a place on "Best Places to Work" lists.
• Create department communication plans that keep employees informed about process changes.
• Craft all policy-related, HR, and executive employee messages.
• Manage all details for quarterly employee meetings, including editing executive presentations.
• Create internal marketing program for Nuance University.
• Work with Recruitment team on branding initiatives.
• Write and edit quarterly employee newsletter.
• Manage executive site visit program.
• Manage annual employee survey; analyze data and report results throughout the company.
• Create vehicles for regularly gathering employee opinions, such as pulse surveys and focus groups; communicate results to senior management.

  QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years experience developing and managing high-quality employee communication programs in a corporate or consulting environment for a variety of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to take high-level strategic information and convert it into clear and concise messages that employees want, need, and appreciate.
• Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills.
• Knowledge of or experience with creating internal marketing programs.
• Collaborative, creative, with high degree of professionalism; positive approach to others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure; proven experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and solving problems.
• Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, English, or related field.
• Experience working within a Human Resources team preferred.
