General Manager- Sales Focused

We are seeking an Experienced, Dynamic and Motivated GM to provide effective and assertive leadership. This position reports directly to the CEO of our growth orientated organization. The GM is responsible for motivating the Business Unit team of employees to achieve our mission and business plan.  The GM has overall responsibility for the operation of the Business Unit office which includes, but is not limited to: Â·  Business Plan: Assists in the design of the local business plan and manages all aspects of implementation. Provides the leadership and drive for Business Unit sales and marketing plan and ensures quality of internal processes and product delivery.·  Marketing: Increases our company’s market share in the region through community involvement, networking in the business community, providing quality training, efficient resource scheduling, effective equipment utilization, exceptional customer service and development of an aggressive sales force.·  Sales: Provides leadership, motivation and supervision over the Sales Managers and Sales team. Works proactively to exceed monthly sales goals. ·  Staffing: Grows and further develops managers. Provides very visible leadership and has significant interaction with all employees. Approves staffing requests when justified and works with HR to create a sufficient candidate pool. Interviews and approves recommended candidates. Fully utilizes employee development programs, enforces company guidelines and provides counsel or discipline if necessary. ·  Fiscal Responsibilities: Full P & L responsibility. Manages expenditures to maintain the integrity of the budget. Reviews Budget Variance Reports, collections, compiles departmental budgets and submits summary reports to President.·  Promotes Teamwork: Uses interdepartmental meetings, incentive programs and team building exercises to build cohesion, motivate employees, build morale and retain employees.Required Skills/Experience Include: Experience as a General Manager with P & L responsibility in a service industryExperience managing managers Demonstrated effective and assertive leadership style A sales-driven individual with 3 years of Sales Management experience
