For more information, please visit www.Fiserv.com POSITION PURPOSE: Perform comprehensive financial and operational audits of Fiserv business units to verify that financial processes are in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Fiserv Corporate Financial Policies and Procedures. Support the company’s efforts in evaluating internal controls as part of compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act Section 404. Assist independent public accounting firms with financial and special engagement reviews. Assist with other Corporate Audit projects and initiatives as needed upon request. DIMENSIONS: All Fiserv, Inc. business units and corporate functions.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports To: Vice President – Corporate Financial Audit Manager Peers: Other Financial and Information Systems Auditors and Senior AuditorsPrimary Working Relationships: Contact with business unit controllers, financial staff and other business unit management Some contact with Fiserv Corporate and Group financial managers and staff Some contact with independent public accounting firmsDirect Reports: None.RESPONSIBILITIES: Use established financial audit workprograms and tools to review, assess and test financial controls at the various Fiserv, Inc. business units. Specific audit areas include: Balance sheet reconciliations Billing and accounts receivable Revenue Recognition Treasury processes Cash disbursements Financial close process Internal controls Process documentation With the guidance and oversight of Senior Auditors and Managers, analyze results of audit procedures and testing to appropriately assess risks and provide appropriate recommendations for corrective action. Participate in audit kick-off and exit meetings. Present audit conclusions and recommendations to management at the conclusion of the audit and as a part of the exit meeting. Prepare detailed, neat and organized workpapers, in accordance with Corporate Audit standards, with sufficient audit evidence to support and document findings, conclusions and recommendations. Perform audit workprograms and other assigned tasks in a professional manner and in accordance with Corporate Audit standards, timelines and budgets. Assist and support external audit activities as needed.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance is required. MBA and/or CPA are a plus. Job Related Experience: 0-1 year professional experience in financial statement analysis, audit or related field Integrated Accounting System knowledge/experience is a plus.Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: Strong understanding and competency in accounting transactions and controls. Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls documentation and testing Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others Strong analytical skills, including process/workflow analysis and pc-based data analysis.
