Financial Analyst - Call 408-392-0506Description: Our industry leading client is seeking a contract Financial Analyst to support their corporate finance group. Responsible for financial analysis of trends and business opportunities. Primary focus is Profit & Loss and balance sheet responsibilities, reporting and analysis. This would include research work on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital, account reconciliation's, investment and financial and expense performance comparisons, as well as recording revenues, product costs, operating expenses and general accruals. Provides financial and business issue support for specific cost center functions. Utilizes complex systems and processes to prepare detailed forecasts (weekly, monthly and long term), "what if" analysis reports, graphs and charts of data to enable focus and improvements to sales, contra revenues, margins, operating profits and ROIC. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Master's in Business Administration plus one year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
