Our company designs, develops, and supports a comprehensive suite of information products for physician practices, hospitals, independent laboratories and long-term care providers that serve the healthcare IT industry's broadening spectrum of needs.We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Washington DC area. As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer networks and related hardware and software on customer premises. You must possess the abilities to communicate with technical resources outside Misys to resolve vendor specific issues. You should be able to recognize incorrect operational techniques on the part of the client and take appropriate measures to educate them on the proper operating procedures.The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to communicate well with others. You must also be able to work independently and act professionally in all aspects of this position.Qualifications:Education/Required Skills-AS Degree or equivalent education-A+ Certification-Network + Certification-Knowledge of Windows XP and 2003 Server-Knowledge of LAN/WAN and protocolsDesired Skills-MCP/MCSE-Knowledge of Cisco routers & wireless devices(CCNA)-Windows 2003 Server-Knowledge of AIX/RS6000Misys Healthcare Systems offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including holidays, vacation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending account, company paid life insurance and 401(k) with company match.Misys . . .
