Entry-Level Tech Support Description: Volt Technical Resources, the primary recruiting partner for 2Wire in San Antonio, TX is hiring Level 1 Technicians who are knowledgeable about computers and home networking fundamentals. 2Wire is a provider of broadband service platforms for the DSL market. Its solutions help DSL providers offer an integrated "triple-play" service of data, voice, and media. 2Wire's products and services include the award-winning Home Portal® residential gateway, the Media Portal™ set top box, and a robust Component Management System (CMS) for service management and provisioning. The Level 1 Technicians receive inbound calls at our client's state of the art support center, where they provide customers with technical assistance with issues concerning their component services. Unlike other Technical Support positions, there is absolutely no selling or quotas involved, and all calls and cases are inbound only. This position offers room for career advancement by starting Level 1 Technicians at $10.50/hr with the ability to advance to direct status with 2Wire in 120 days. Many of our agents are given the opportunity and have advanced into Floor Walker, QA Engineer, Team Lead, and Team Supervisor positions.
