Enterprise Storage Technical Architect

We are looking for candidates with the following skills :

 

The successful candidate will perform daily event monitoring and investigating incidents to a triage level. Operators observe real-time events and replay events using replay tools. They interpret events with the event inspector, and respond to events with preset, automated actions. They also run reports and refer to knowledge based articles. SOC operators work with the linkage between ArcSight and the external incident reporting system.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 

· " Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in all types of storage technologies including, but not limited to:

· Local and remote replication methods

· § Synchronous

· § Asynchronous

· § Clones, mirrors, snap, etc

·  Advanced data protection and recovery

· Storage Virtualization

· Multi-protocol NAS

· HBA OS integration and multi-path management

· Cross platform data migration experience

· " Knowledge of block and file protocols SCSI, iSCSI, FC, FCIP, CIFS, NFS

· " Knowledge of tiering storage architecture including Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and/or Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)

· " Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices.

· " Understanding of multiple OS platforms including Windows, AIX, HPUX, Sun Solaris and SUSE Linux.

· " Understanding of multiple Database environments including SQL, Oracle, UDB/DB2.

· " Ability to manage multiple large projects.
