Position Summary
Provide all levels of technical support, working both directly with customers and with F5 Global Services. The ENE, Hardware NPI position is also responsible for representing the customers' technical and usability needs in regards to their specified product or arena of expertise with a focus on F5 hardware platforms.

ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier-3 support for the Field Services, Network Support, Consulting and Training organizations Balance the needs of the customer base with the technical and practical limitations dictated by the release cycle timeline as well as the established Product Requirements. Maintain and leverage inter-organizational relationships with counter under the Product Management and Product Development organizations. Perform technical customer presentations and training, and internal training.
Qualifications Extensive knowledge of UNIX (particularly LINUX variants). Experience working with and supporting external customers Experience working with and maintaining relationships with inter organizational groups Experience running technical betas for new hardware/software platforms. Experience with Layer 2 switching technologies. Knowledgeable in x86 hardware architecture. Experience with Windows networking. Experience developing serviceability and usability requirements from a hardware perspective. Experience with F5 or competing products is highly desirable. Solid written and oral communications abilities. Familiarity with Manufacturing Process Management (WPM) technologies and methods a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Daily computer use in an office environment.
