Enterprise BI Program Manager

Description:Reporting to Senior Director of Enterprise Business Intelligence, the Enterprise BI Program Manager will be responsible for managing the daily program activities for Enterprise BI program Phase I (FY09) and following phases. The Enterprise BI Program Manager will coordinate with different tracks of the Enterprise BI program, such as Customer Intelligence Analytics, Finance Business Intelligence, Data and BI Governance, and EDWNI to enable the successful implementation of projects in each track. The Enterprise BI Program Manager will work closed with NetApp IT PMO Office to help resolve any cross-functional dependency issues and risks. Essential Functions:- Contribute to and understand the Business Intelligence roadmap and strategy for Enterprise BI, particularly focus on BI values to business in Sales, Marketing, and Finance areas- Manage the Enterprise BI Program plan and execution by align activity closely with the Enterprise BI projects- Manage the communication of the Enterprise BI Program - schedule and execution of program update meeting, cross-functional update meeting (PMO meeting), Brown-bag information sharing, Newsletter update of program/project status to extended NetApp BI community, and plan for road-show with the demo application- Work closely with Data & BI Governance manager, PMO, and other cross-functional team to manage the change management, system/application dependency, risk mitigation, and release management- Enforce best practice SDLC process for Enterprise BI projects and help the on-time project delivery.- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Finance (MBA a plus)- 5+ years solid experience in Business Intelligence program and project management in Fortune 500 companies- 5+ years in IT application implementation and project management, with end-to-end implementation of enterprise projects preferred- Successful in partnering and collaborating with business stakeholders for IT projectsQualifications:- Proven success record of at least 5 years experience with large scale Business Intelligence program and projects management in Fortune 500 companies, including Business Intelligence methodologies and implementation is a must. - Strong experience in business partnership and IT cross-functional partnership/- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills- Ability to focus on key message of the Enterprise BI values and process and able to influence business and IT stakeholders to adopt best practice BI and Data practice- Ability to partner NetApp IT Program Management Office development methodology and guidelines- Ability to convert complex ideas and process involving Business Intelligence life cycle into clear communication for technical and non-technical audiences- Strong motivation to leverage the Business Intelligence to enhance NetApp business value and improve business process- Ability to manage enterprise project SDLC process and focus on the delivery and risk mitigation during the implementation cycleSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceTo learn more about NetApp employee benefits go to: http://www.netapp.com/jobs/benefits.htmlJob Location: Sunnyvale, CAJob Number: 2810BRCompany URL: http://www.netapp.comCompany Profile:NetApp creates innovative storage and data management solutions that help accelerate business breakthroughs and deliver outstanding cost efficiency.
