Position Description
We have an exciting and challenging position available for a Product Development Manager to lead our DRAM products development team in creating world beating products. In this position you will directly contribute as well as leading a team of Engineers in the development of new DRAM module products for Corsair’s Dominator, XMS, Gaming and standard memory product lines. This is a challenging position where you will be expected to blend your technical and project management skills as well as your ability to creatively solve problems that occur from pushing the envelop. This position will report to the Senior Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- All engineering aspects related to Corsair DRAM Memory Products, both overclocked and non-overclocked, as well ensuring we are providing world class service and support to our OEM customers.
- Manage the team responsible for the development of all DRAM module products.
- Continuously survey/track DRAM vendors regarding current and future products/die steppings.
- Technical support for OEM customers on DRAM products.
- Qualification of new products and new die revisions
- Working closely with Product Engineering on the production release of new products.
- Determining compatibility testing requirements and helping to resolve any identified compatibility issues
- Define new product development schedule, tracking and reporting progress to executive management
Requirements:
- Familiar with DRAM and DRAM modules.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to new requirements
- Able to track and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong self starter with excellent hands-on technical skills
- Ability to provide clear direction and leadership to a small (2-4 person) Engineering team
- Successful release of multiple products into volume (>10K/month) production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands on experience with building PCs and/or overclocking is a plus
- Experience with supporting off-shore production transfer is a plus
- Minimum experience/education: 8 – 10 years, BSEE or equivalent.
Position will be based at the corporate headquarters in Fremont, California.
