Engineering Change Coordinator

Summary:

Under minimal direction, the Engineering Change (EC) Coordinator is responsible for reviewing engineering change notices and determining impact on inventory and production.  Working closely with different departments, they rely on experience and knowledge to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Manage Engineer Changes released from the UK.

· Determine effective dates for newly released parts by reviewing inventory levels and consumption rates.

· Review disposition of the EC’s for down-level inventory and coordinate the completion of the disposition: Rework, Scrap, Return to Vendor.

· Prepare reports to monitor down-level inventory levels, material scrapped, Bill of Material errors and other areas to be defined.

· Prepare scrap tickets for obsolete material and route for proper approvals.

· Dispose of material in accordance with ISO 14001 compliance.

· Support management in the development and implementation of the company’s quality management system and continually improve its effectiveness

· Know the company’s quality policy and understand your role in carrying it out.

· Proven team player able to assimilate into an existing group of experienced members.

· Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.

· Basic level skill working with MS Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

Experience and Education:

· Minimum three years in an EC Coordinator role.

· H.S. diploma required.

· Working knowledge of MRP system.

· Working knowledge of SAP a plus
