Electrical Sales Representative

Panduit offers an attractive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401k, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement and more.  We are currently seeking an Electrical Sales Representative for the Richmond, VA area.SALES REPRESENTATIVE - ELECTRICALRichmond, VirginiaTerritory may include Central and Southern Virginia and more.Responsibilities: · Create demand and sell Panduit products to current and prospective customers by identifying high potential opportunities & position Panduit as a complete solution. · Promote Panduit products to local electrical distributors and end user customers.  · Negotiate major contracts, create significant distributor sales growth and achieve optimum distributor coverage in the territory. Travel Must be willing to travel to customer sites via personal/ commercial transportation. Job Requirements· 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably within the electrical industry. · BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, required. · Demonstrated success calling on multiple types of customers, at all levels, (OEM, MRO, distributors, end users, consultants, systems integrators, contractors, etc.) · Strong solution selling background with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer application problems and complaints. · Must be proficient in prospecting new accounts and following up on sales leads. · Excellent communications, presentation and relationship management skills. · Requires participation in national and local trade shows. · Valid driver's license required.
