Job Title - ETL designer

Description of the Responsibilities Participate in enterprise initiatives providing data infrastructure, data modeling and data architect support to business analysts, developers and users of data.  Provide leadership in terms of analyzing and defining conceptual data models, data transformations and cross-system data mapping; develop and maintain data consolidation, de-duplication and merging rules and models.He/She will be responsible for designing ETL stratergy and churning on ETL design specification documemts. Gradually move into a role for Subject matter expert for Mutual fund domain Strong, current technical skills, conceptual and analytical skills.Must have basic project management skills with a preferred background in Software Development Life Cycles.Demonstrated ability to understand and document business processes and an ability to translate business needs into data requirements needs.Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete a task.Ability to effectively present information (both verbal and written) and respond to questions from peers.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of factors in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to provide one-on-one instruction and mentoring to junior team members.Organizationally effective in working with technical development and business teams.

 

Minimum Requirements

Reporting - OBIEE +,ETL- informatica 7/8x,Data modeling – Erwin,RDBMS- Oracle,Domain - Customer interaction (channels)/campaign management/mutual funds preferred.
