CDW is proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.The E-commerce Designer serves as the liaison between visual design and development teams, working closely with both design and development to translate design comps into HTML/XHTML/CSS. Works with User Experience, Visual Design and Development to extend existing interaction models to provide new functionality based upon business requirements and user goals. The E-commerce Designer creates and manages production of visual assetts.   Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 4-6 years HTML/XHTML/CSS (hand-coded, no WYSIWYG) Interface design experience for transactional websites Demonstrated experience with a variety of media and knowledge of design principles, layout, color theory, typography portfolio required In-depth knowledge of HTML and XML, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator Possess creative problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with and support the needs of a team Ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate work flow, and handle tight deadline Experience working closely with visual design, IA Ability to develop rapid prototypes for user validation Working knowledge of rich internet applications technologies and  development Exceptional problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail Strong ability to build internal relationships across design and technical development Working knowledge of 508 Compliance requirements Understanding of SEO principles is ideal
