Job Description:

Juniper Networks is seeking an extraordinary senior engineer ready to play a leading role in shaping the future of JUNOS-based service layer technologies. The ideal candidate will:

- contribute to the team of architects enhancing the services ecosystem for

JUNOS-based platforms

- work with software, hardware and ASIC teams to design systems with scale,

flexibility and resilience in mind

- be a catalyst for innovation in layers 4 to 7 of the protocol stack

Candidates for this position must:

- have a BS or MS in EE or Computer Science and at least 10 years of work experience

- have extensive experience in embedded network software development

- be expert in high performance, scalable, modular software design and architecture

- be able to assimilate information about complex, multi-layered systems and pick

out the hard problems

- be a natural leader and be able to influence people across the organization

- have high quality communication skills (both written and verbal)

- be an excellent team player
