GeistManufacturing is a 60 year old, US manufacturing company.  We are located in Lincoln, Nebraska.  We are a leading manufacturer of PowerDistribution and Environmental Monitoring products for the InformationTechnology market. Geist Manufacturing is one of several divisions of PCE(Plastics Companies Enterprises).

 

Geisthas shown exceptional growth for the past 10 years, and is currently expandingdomestic manufacturing facilities and is in a start up mode internationally.

 

Thecurrent Director of Sales is moving towards retirement.  This is a golden opportunity for a proven sale’sprofessional to join the Geist Team, take the helm, work in an energeticenvironment, and lead sales and the company to new levels of growth andexpansion.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Position is responsible for all Internationaland Domestic Sales Operations. Responsibilities include directing and supervisingall sales efforts, regional managers, sales positions, and coordinating of  field sales logistics and operations.

 

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

- Direct the overallactivities of Geist Manufacturing’s domestic and international sales effort

 

- Prepare StrategicBusiness Plans

 

- Identify and contractwith local sales representative firms

 

- Identify and hiresales professionals as required to meet strategic plans

 

- Travel domesticallyand internationally as required in support of regional sales managers and localsales representative firms

 

- Forecast and analyzeexpenses and departmental budgets

 

- Develop strategicsales and marketing plans and forecasts

 

- Select, budget,schedule, and approve domestic and international trade show presence

 

- Review tradeinformation for competitive products and provide input on future products ormarkets

 

- Assist in developmentof tradeshow displays and general marketing materials

 

- Oversee sales staffdevelopment, meetings, and training



QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-Degree in business orrelated technical field

 

-Experience in InformationTechnology equipment sales

 

-Training  or experience in electric/electronic field

 

-Basic computer skills

 

-Internationalbusiness development history

 

-10 + years experiencewithin the Information Technology industry

 

-Experience with  Distribution Sales Channels

 

-Positions held inSales Management, Major Account Sales, Information Technology Sales, and/or ProductDevelopment

 

-Strong Managerialskills and the ability to develop team building solutions

 

- Empathetic, honest, straightforward, andprofessional

 

-Strong attention todetail

 

-Understanding thatbuilding sales, profits and meeting goals must all be in sync with greatcustomer service and teamwork.
