Director of SSD Sales
Are you a hard charging, strategic sales Director with a Solid Track Record? Are you knowledgeable about storage devices, memory or SSD? We have an immediate opening for a Director of Sales
We are a leading manufacture of storage test systems. We are quickly expanding into the SSD market and have an immediate opening for an experienced, results-driven, and self-motivated individual to be a part of our sales team. If you have experience in the hard disk, memory or Solid State Drive industries please contact us immediately. This highly visibly sales position will report directly to the Vice President Major Accounts and Marketing.
We are an Equity backed company that has been building turnkey test systems since for over 20 years. Our systems are used by all major HDD, ODD and now the emerging SSD industry.
Responsibilities include: Building a marketing and business strategy for potential new customers within an assigned territory. Assist in conduct contractual negotiations with new and existing customers. Close business consistently at or above target levels. Effectively presenting the company’s' corporate philosophy and services in a professional manner. Utilize and communicate regularly with supporting sales staff and other departments to establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of strategic selling experience. Track record of superior performance with business closing skills above or at required levels Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must Results oriented professional - self motivated and persistent - driven to meet or exceed goals Capable of presenting the features and benefits of our products that fulfill the need of our customers with an understanding of the industry requirements. Effective utilization of time management and organization skills to consistently achieve desired results. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Valid D.L. U.S. Citizen or permanent residence status Overnight travel is required. The ability to obtain and hold a passport is required The ability to obtain a China Visa may be required
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with emphasis in a marketing, business or technical field. Experience may be substituted for this requirement. Has a complete understanding of strategic account selling. Is familiar with and has contacts in the memory, hard disk drive, or SDD industries. Has the ability to work independently and applies the technical knowledge, sales experience and skills necessary to effectively perform all aspects of the job. Is persistent, does not give up readily. A hunter able to penetrate new accounts and maintain key accounts to increase market share. Demonstrates competence, communication, dependability, commitment, adaptability, collaboration, and discipline. Has a solid, professional image. Possess strong people skills. Someone that is out going gets along well with people and focuses on the customer (customer driven). The individual can listen, interact and communicate well with the customer. Someone that can uncover customer's underlying needs and match them with our products.
Compensation:Salary commensurate with experience. First year total compensation up to $200,000+. Company provides employees with a complete benefit package including Medical, Dental, Life, Vacation, PTO, and 401(k).
