Desktop Support Engineer

Our client, one of the most innovative and exciting companies in RTP, is looking for a desktop support engineer to administer the desktop computing environment, troubleshoot various desktop issues and develop solutions to those issues. Position will provide both local and remote support to end users while assisting in the development of procedures and policies Requirements:• An associate or undergraduate degree in related fields with 1-2 of desktop support experience is required. • Proficiency in the setup and installation of Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista workstations and servers required. • Proficiency in the setup of peripheral devices • Setup and train employees on the corporate voice mail system. • Proficiency in the setup and installation of Microsoft Office applications required. • Experience with Windows 2000/2003/XP/ Vista security and Group Policy is desirable • Experience with Windows Mobile and Exchange Active Sync. • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise is desirable. • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines consistently is required. • Effective oral and written communication skills are highly desirable. • Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibility. • Must maintain and secure sensitive/confidential information.If you meet the above requirements, please send your resume and salary requirements to marie.badger@modis.com Job Reference Code: MG-DSKTP Company: Modis, Inc.
