Desktop Publisher Consultant Desired!!!! Are you currently an Information Technology professional such as Desktop Publisher, Do you possess excellent Quark, Pagemark, Adobe, and Modify skills? Are you a person that knows no limits to getting the job done? Than look no farther!!!! 1 Month Contract Possible Extension Spherion is currently looking to hire Desktop Publisher for our client a global document management company. The ideal candidates will have: Unique tasks requiring skills acquired through extensive training, experience, or education. · Develops and/or writes procedures. Excellent communication skills and able to understand and interpret customer requirements to deliver solutions. · Certification may be required. (i.e. Network, Java) · Interface with customer to optimize document design for quality and reproduction utilizing web design and applications such as Quark, Pagemark, Adobe, etc. Modify document layouts and impositions to achieve desired finished results.· Re-engineer documents to migrate from offset to digital for printing · Apply color management, color correction, trapping and image editing · Perform network system administration or web design Preferred skills: Computer skills advanced use of: - MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Web / Internet / Intranet Use / locate / configure devices (drives, files, printers) attached to network. Proficient with desktop publishing graphics/ illustration software Education: Specialized training/education as required; graphic arts, imaging science or print technology, network or documented equivalent training · Experience: Experience in a Customer Service environment (minimum 1 year) · Additional Job Requirements: Mail Room experience a plus, plus!
