Deskside Support Technician, Tulsa

Day to Day Work Deskside support to on site client end users as well as performing telecom work phones and network connections. Troubleshoot basic XP, MS Office and LAN connection issues. This position will also provide support to remote sites. Skillset required: Windows XP troubleshootingBasic network troubleshootingFamiliar with HP hardware: both laptops and desktops.Familiar with Wyse terminalsMust be A+ certified. Telecom experience a plus (phone replacements, phone troubleshooting) Marimba/Altiris application knowledge a plus. A+ certification required, NO EXCEPTIONS. OEM certifications (Dell, Compaq, HP, etc.), other certifications and/or training as required. General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Basic troubleshooting and repair ability. Ability to test PC, servers and associated peripherals and/or low end document processor products. Ability to resolve very basic/non-complex problems as required. Basic mechanical skills and understanding of electro static discharge (ESD) procedures. Electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes, polytechnic and/or military technical school. Client and/or governmental clearance as required.This position will be responsible for meeting SLAs on tickets coming from two ticketing systems - Remedy and Peregrine. Interact with IT site manger regarding daily operations.
