Responsibilities

 

·  Coach, mentor, lead, motivate and manage a team of 4-6 talented and driven report developers.

·  Partner with various levels within the user community and IT department to define business requirements.

·  Recommend design options, and assist in architecting a cohesive reporting and information delivery environment and standards using Microsoft Reporting Services, SharePoint, Web, and other technologies.

·  Design and develop user interfaces/applications as it pertains to information delivery and access to data and OLAP cubes as needed.

·  Design Reporting Services logical data models and executive dashboards.

·  Design and develop production reports using Microsoft Reporting Services.

·  Gather existing legacy reports inventory and migrate/rewrite using new Data Warehouse and reporting tools.

·  Maintain the reports library and gather ongoing statistics on usage.

·  Create and maintain documentation as it pertains to reporting and information delivery.

·  May write ad hoc queries and maintaining data dictionaries as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related studies.

·  Strong working knowledge in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, and reporting with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with progressive technical design accountability.

·  Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 BI architecture, Reporting Services (SSRS), integrations services (SSIS), analysis services, SharePoint Portal server, and relational database.

·  Experience with Data Warehouse methodologies including star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and OLAP.

·  Previous significant role in the full Systems Development Life Cycle of one or more very large Data Warehouse project.

·  Strong SQL and/or Transact SQL skills.

·  Previous experience in at least one Executive Dashboard technology such as Dundas or Microsoft PerformancePoint.

·  2 - 5 years team and functional management experience, as well as significant experience managing large projects.

·  Previous experience in a finance/auto finance industry is strongly desired.

·  Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional management and team members.

·  Ability to effectively organize and document report structures and processes to create repeatability.

·  Articulate with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.

·  Must be able to pass our criminal, credit, drug testing, and background check.
