Job Description:

Lead a Data Management team. Design, develop and execute reporting solutions to meet a rapidly changing business environment.  Interact with executive and technical associates to provide innovative solutions.  Manage a team of 8-9 associates and contractors.

Manage the environments required to support development, QA, and production for our operational and executive reporting environments.  Track all environments and report performance and usage metrics.

Provide DBA and data design support to the application teams for all application and platform components.  Assist the development teams by providing best practices for usage of our data warehouse environment.

Provide data management support to the development teams for all application and platform components.  Assist the infrastructure teams by monitoring the data warehouse platforms for performance and capacity problems.  Assist in the planning of new hardware and new platform components.

Follow the methodology, which includes developing Statements of Work, manage development requirements, and ensure test procedures are followed; design, development, and validation phases.

Skills Required:

· Prior Technical Leadership/Management experience

· 3-5 years of DBA experience, familiar with Informix, DB2, Oracle and SQL Server

· 3-5 years Data Warehouse experience, preferably utilizing MicroStrategy tools

· 3-5 years ETL experience

· Minimum undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering field

· Proficient communication and presentation skills.  Must be comfortable participating in or facilitating application discussions, issue reviews, and design discussions

· Project management experience a plus

· Industry experience a plus
