Data Architect / Data Modeler Desired ASAP!!!!!  Pay Rate: 80 K - Negoteable Location: Ann Arbor, MI  Develop and maintain enterprise data model for all software applications. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the enterprise data model working closely with business users, DBAs, project leads and developers. Own and govern the data model changes in all enterprise applications. Perform impact analysis to ensure all systems leads are informed and coordinate efforts to implement changes. Develop a design for enterprise data warehouse and individual data marts for different business functions reporting needs. Develop and enforce data architecture standards (data modeling, data naming standards).  Perform ETL tasks as necessary to do source to target mapping and developing the scripts to load data.  Deliver high level of customer service to appropriate user groups and utilize sound business judgment in the leadership of smaller scale development initiatives.  Maintain positive, constructive, team-oriented attitude as well as sound judgment in all job responsibilities. When appropriate, serve as liaison to one or more user groups to ensure that their technology needs are being met.  Command a basic understanding of NSF's mission and business and how the position's job responsibilities contribute to the goals of the company.QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.  A minimum of six (6) years total information technology related experience  A minimum of four (4) years experience with hands on data modeling experience for transactional applications and data warehouse/data marts. Clear understanding of Logical Data modeling concepts and goals. Strong data analysis and analytical skills Proficiency with Oracle Designer modeling tool. Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage major tasks and small projects with little supervision. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Experience with end-to-end data warehouse design starting with Data Modeling to ETL to Data Design to BI.  Experience with data warehousing design methodologies using Kimball or Inmon approaches.  Knowledge and understanding of J2EE applications environment and architecture.
