The company creates and manages high availability store environments and collaborates with customers to reduce their costs and improve their profitability. Fujitsu's offerings include multi-vendor infrastructure management services, point-of-sale hardware and software, mobile devices and self-service systems including U-Scan. Job Description FTXS currently has employment opportunities in its Client Operations business unit and is seeking Field Engineers dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Position is located in Richmond, VA. ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain Point of Sale (POS) computer equipment in a grocery and retail environment. Equipment vendors include Fujitsu, IBM and NCR models. Drive as needed throughout a defined area to repair equipment at various customer sites. Maintain a company vehicle Manage/Control parts inventory Attend out of area training sessions as needed Attend out of area special projects as needed RequirementsStrong PC/Hardware maintenance and repair skills Must be A+ certified Must possess proven customer relation, time management & organizational skills Experience with Fujitsu, IBM and/or NCR POS equipment is a plus Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must. Availability for air travel outside of local area for training or special projects is required Must be able to obtain a company-sponsored credit card or assume credit charges for any and all business expenses. Expenses (ex. hotels, car rentals, meals etc.) incurred during the course of conducting company business are reimbursed through normal company processes and timelines. Must be available for shift schedules which may include weekends and holidays as well as varying shifts as business needs dictate. Able to lift 70 lbs Successful completion of drug test and general background check including MVR and Credit check is mandatory.
