Computer Networking Specialist
Job Purpose:
Provide onsite/remote hardware, software and network support for clients
Duties:
* Perform routing maintenance on desktops, servers and network equipment.
* Experience supporting Windows environment a plus (XP, Vista, Windows Server 2000/2003/2007, Exchange)
* Assist in management of multiple customer networks. (Add/Remove users, replace PCs, help install servers)
* Troubleshoot PC issues (spyware/virus removal, performance tuning, hardware problems, printing, etc.)
* Documents completed work by completing forms, reports and logs.
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must have strong customer service skills,patience and be able to communicate effectively. Must be responsible and detail-oriented. This position will require extensive documentation of activities performed for customers.
Extensive knowlege of PC/Laptop hardware, PC software (XP, Vista, Windows OS), General knowledge of Active Directory/Domain environments, TCP/IP, DNS.
