CCNP Network Engineer

Modis is currently seeking a qualified Cisco Certified Network Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in the Chicago suburban area.PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration and maintenance of LAN/WAN Networks, Security devices / Firewalls and Wireless technologies.  In addition, candidates may assist in the support of Cisco IPCC technologies including Cisco CallManager and Cisco Unity Voicemail. The ideal candidate must have minimum of 5-7 years hands-on experience with the design, implementation and maintenance of Cisco Routers/Switches, LAN/WAN Networks and Wireless technologies (Wireless Access Points).   Candidates must also have demonstrated experience with the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of Cisco Firewalls (ASA 5520 / PIX 525), Intrusion Detection Modules, IDS/IPS, Firewall Logs and Syslog servers.  REQUIRED SKILLS  - Active CCNP Certification.  - Additional CCDA/CCDP, CCVP and/or CCSP Certifications are highly preferred.- Minimum 5-7 years hands-on experience with Cisco Routers & Switches, including router configurations - Strong BGP/ OSPF / EIGRP / MPLS Protocols- Experience with WAP / WiFi and Wireless protocols - Excellent customer interfacing skills a mustABOUT MODIS  Modis is one of the world's largest and most respected providers of Information Technology Resource Management (ITRM) services and solutions.
