We develop and produce hardware-assisted solutions for the functional verification of complex integrated circuit designs as well as the hardware and software
necessary for complete high-performance verification solutions. Our customers span the leading-edge of the graphics, computer, and networking industries.
Our emulators use a patented technology to interconnect the
emulation hardware resources. The allocation and scheduling of these
communication resources forms a key part of the overall emulation
compilation process. The software development engineer will join the
team responsible for the scheduling compiler for our next generation
emulators.
Responsibilities:
The Software Development Engineer will have responsibilities in the
development and improvement of the scheduling compiler. Primary responsibility
will be to participate in the design and implementation of new, high-quality
functionality. The work will be mostly in C++ on Linux. It will require
understanding and developing scheduling algorithms, as well as understanding
the emulator communication hardware. It will require working with
other software, firmware and hardware teams in an international environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
- MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with strong background
in software engineering. PhD preferred.
- Individual should have 2+ years of software development experience in
developing large C/C++ applications as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience with algorithm design, object oriented design,
and software testing methods.
- Excel in a team-oriented development.
- Understanding of digital logic design.
- Software engineering skills with experience in Unix/Linux.
Desired:
- Experience in EDA software development or experience in scheduling
algorithms.
- Knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog/Vhdl).
- Knowledge of a software simulation tools (Modelsim, Nc-sim, vcs...) Please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
