Business Analyst Position Overview:As key members of the Product Management team, Functional Analysts work with Activant's customer base, development and implementation teams, sales, consulting, and support groups, as well as company executives in order to gather requirements and develop functional specifications for our lead ERP product offering as well as our wireless warehouse solution and Trading Network. Level 2 Functional Analysts provide direct influence on the functionality and direction of Activant ProductsResponsibilities: Working independently with customers and internal departments to gather functional requirements for baseline and custom features of moderate to difficult scope Writing Functional Specifications from these requirements that will be shared with the customer and development group, from which code will be developed Acting as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure that the feature’s vision and goal is accomplished through the delivered code Acting as an expert and content resource for Activant WDN applications, in particular P21, B2B Seller, Trading Partner Connect, and Knowledge Management Center Acting as the knowledge resource in Product Management for specific assigned vertical markets that are a part of Activant WDN’s focus Assisting on Sales Calls when necessary to demonstrate specific areas of the system Training internal employees and customers on specific features when new product is released and during annual user’s conference Working with implementation and application consulting teams to develop best practices and work on solutions for individual customer issuesRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree 2 – 5 years experience in Industrial Distribution and/or working with ERP solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Windows Applications, specifically Microsoft Office Demonstrates capability to use professional, distribution-centric concepts to solve a variety of problems Minimal travel to customer sites and trade shows is requireJob Status: Full-Time Click here to APPLY NOW.
