Job Description
The Asset Management Specialist will support Asset Management activities for a large government client’s advanced automation system, with global systems. As part of the Asset Management Group the team member will update tickets and escalate as necessary for request completion in accordance with Service Level Agreements. This specialist will also provide phone and in-person support to users as needed to address issues related to procurement requests, and will provide assistance in gathering information for customer and contract management reporting.

Responsibilities:
-Preparing bureau Automated Data Processing equipment requests;
-Participation in defining customer requirements;
-Performing annual inventory of equipment;
-Receiving and validating all purchases;
-Coordinating distribution of purchases to the end user;
-Maintaining records to provide accountability for equipment;
-Preparing equipment for excess and disposal;
-Delivery/Retrieval of equipment to sites and annexes;
-Shipping of equipment to regional sites; and
-Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
-5 years experience in asset management.
-Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in a related discipline such as computer science, information systems, or logistics.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to lift 35-50 pounds.
-Active and valid Drivers License.
-Active Secret security clearance required.
