Applications Developer (SQL VB script C# ASP.NET UI)

We are currently seeking a permanent Applications Developer for our Fortune 500 Financial Services client located in the Bellevue, WA market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a full-lifecycle development and support of the data dictionary and custom applications that internal customers use. The successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task and get up to speed quickly in a dynamic IT environment.  Tasks include but are not limited to ·  Maintaining and enhancing the operational readiness and performance of the data dictionary across multiple product lines. ·  Working with Product Management and internal customers to define requirements. ·  Debugging issues in VB Script and SQL. ·  Developing Share Point Technologies (WSS & MOSS) ·  Managing multiple projects. ·  Troubleshoot and debug data dictionary issues ·  Configuration, deployment, maintenance of dictionaries across portable area networks and main data center servers ·  Effective research and identification of functional, technical, and security issues. ·  Write scripts to automate common tasks and help diagnose problems. ·  Research new technologies that will improve efficiency. ·  Identify and develop process improvements in the interaction between business application and the IT organization. ·  Create and customize share point sites ·  Be able to lead multiple projects  Requirements for Consideration·  BS in Computer Science desired. Will consider equivalent experience. ·  At least 5+ years of experience in the IT Industry. ·  3+ years of SQL query writing and debugging experience. ·  3 +years of VB script writing and debugging experience. ·  3+ years of UI design experience on a smart client UI ·  2+ years experience with an IDE environment ·  3+ years of experience with SQL server ·  3+ years of experience with .NET Framework ·  3+ years of experience with C# or ASP.NET ·  Database design principals, UI design, Active Directory 2003, SQL Server 2005/2000, SQL queries, VB Script. ·  A strong understanding of network and system monitoring tools ·  .NET framework ·  Share Point design and web parts implementation ·  C# and ASP.NET coding/debugging  To Apply for This position:Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
