Mac Made Easy is Hawaii's Premier Apple Specialist for the islands of Hawaii since 1992. We currently have a full time opening for an Apple Certified Repair Technician for our store on the island of Kauai.

Overview of Position: 
To perform hardware and software repairs and upgrades on Apple Computers


JOB SUMMARY
The Service Technician provides quality service and repair for a broad range of Mac products. Support for other areas of business such as sales and reports are required.

REQUIREMENTS
-College education of at least 2 years.
-Extensive knowledge of Macintosh computers, Mac OS X, and relevant Apple service certifications.
-Drivers license and ability to drive to off-site clients on occasion. Driving abstract may be required.
-Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documentation and follow procedures.
-Ability to troubleshoot and solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
-Ability to effectively organize workflow and materials.
-Sound business judgment and decision-making abilities.
-Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably on the phone, e-mail, and in person.
-Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with customers.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple ongoing projects -- balancing speed, accuracy and profitability.
-Excellent attention to detail.
-Team member is a must.


DUTIES AND TASKS
-Service and repair all types of hardware issues on a wide variety of Macs.
-Troubleshoot and solve software issues including OS and program installs.
-Work as a team to meet production and profitability goals.
-Interface with customers to ensure quality customer service.
-Work closely with the Sales Department to meet their needs and those of the customer.
-Answer tech support phone calls.
-Identify parts and order as necessary.
-Work with retail and business clients.
• Diagnose and repair Apple Computers in a timely manner. 

• Assist and advise walk-in and tele-sales customers with their hardware and software related issues
