We will cover some of the relocation expenses for the right candidate.___________________________________________________Position will require both (limited) on-site and (majority) in-store hardware and software repair of both in warranty and out of warranty Mac computers. Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills required. Benchtech experience required with Desktop, OS and Portable certifications. Must know GSX and have good communication skills to interact with service staff, customers and Apple. COMPANY INFO:MacNet Computer & Home Theater is authorized by Apple as an Apple Specialist and a Apple Service Provider (AASP) which means that we sell and service machines that are brought in store or require on-site repair. We have been serving Maui’s Macintosh community for over 13 years and maintain a staff of 8+ people (6 sales + 2 service). We have a beautiful 3,000+ sq feet retail storefront that is dedicated to selling Apple Hardware, software and related peripherals. We work with small business, consumer retail, and education markets on Maui. We are the only Apple Reseller/Specialist on Maui and are among an elite group of about 150+ Apple Specialists nationwide. Maui is the second most populated island in the Hawaiian Islands chain behind Oahu which is home to the world famous Waikiki beach. Maui is referred to by the locals as Maui No Ka Oi which means Maui is number one.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:• Must be able to multitask – ie. Service machines, answer calls, help check-in and check-out computers, do sales when necessary• Must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills.• Must be professional in appearance, trustworthy, dependable and punctual.• Strong knowledge of the MAC OS is required from System 7 thru OS X.• Experience with break/fix repair, software troubleshooting, hardware and software upgrades. Competent to diagnose and resolve customer issues quickly and accurately the first time through the use of the proper path of troubleshooting.• Self-motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented. Able to manage own schedule and coordinate with other technicians and assign daily machines to be completed.• Good product knowledge of Apple hardware products (i.e. MacPro/MacBook Pro/MacBook/iMac/MacMini,iPod, etc.)• General knowledge of popular Mac software.• Must be detail oriented and good with paperwork and follow task(s) to completion.• Must be willing to relocate to Maui (position available starting October) time frame. • Must be willing to commit to position for a minimum of 1 year.ADDITIONAL ASSETS: (Not Required)

•Macintosh Technician Certification (MacNet will pay for Certification exams)

• ACTC Certification

• A+ Certification• Good understanding of FileMaker Pro – MacNet POS system.

• PC/MAC Networking a plus.SALARY INFO:Approximately $3,000/mo total from salary, commissions and bonuses with annual potential for raises (up to 10%) depending on performance. Position is full time with vacation, medical/dental, mileage expense reimbursement, and flat-cost employee product purchase benefits.
