Account Manager - Systems Integration (Healthcare)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales responsibility for our Systems Integration Business Unit for Healthcare in the IL and WI marketsMust have a good understanding of Hospital Technology Infrastructure.Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customers' business and establish a value proposition that results in sales.Must also act as the representative for other Business Units, identifying opportunities and introducing the appropriate resources necessary to complete the transaction.The ideal candidate should have at least five years of proven sales experience to healthcare end-user customers. This includes selling into large, complex accounts with both individual and team responsibilities.The individual will demonstrate an understanding of the technical and business challenges faced by this market, and a proven ability to develop and deliver solutions.Must also be a team player, working closely with our other business units and vendors.Candidate must be able to manage key executive relationships.Has a strong awareness of the key industry/market issues and trends.
REQUIREMENTS: Proven track record selling systems integration solutions including servers, data storage, back up recovery, virtualization, etc. to the healthcare vertical in the past 4 years, preferably delivering an annual sales revenue of $2M and upPrevious experience selling relevant technologies into the healthcare spaceAffiliations with key IT executive networks within the Illinois and Wisconsin territoriesParticipation/membership in various groups such as HIMSSExceptional sales/business development skills with the ability to penetrate competitor markets, build and close new client relationshipsDemonstrate a high level of independence in his/her workEnergetic, enthusiastic and flexibleAggressive, hunter mentality
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Daytime local travel within a 200 mile radius on a daily basis. Overnight travel is less than 30%.
