ASIC Design Validation Engineer (3085) DescriptionQLogic is expanding with an entry level opportunity with the Minneapolis based ASIC design team.  Learn the latest CAD tools while working on cutting edge designs that pushing both speed and density.  Join a world class design team boasting a proven track record of repeated design success.  Learn and exploit industry best practices for rapid time-to-market with the highest level of quality. The responsibilities for the ASIC Design Validation Engineer will contain the following; additional duties will be assigned by management: Write Verilog code for unit and system testing Develop PSL assertions to use formal verification tools to constrain and describe logic behavior Hunt down design flaws and performance limitation. Required ExperienceQualified candidates would have: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in training and experience Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL Familiarity with C, TCL, Perl, or Bash scripting Excellent verbal/written communication skills Strong multi-tasking skills Ability to work well in a team environment Personal drive to learn more, dig deeper A craving for Sudoku type puzzles
