A high visibility role with rapidly growing 3rd party logistics company in Atlanta, GA
Â
Role:
·        Manage global supply chain programs for multiple customers, including forecast generation, inventory planning, replenishment order calculation and placement, open order tracking/acceleration/deferral, and warehouse receipt/variance resolution
·        Lead inventory reconciliation efforts
·        Identify and implement opportunities to improve service levels and inventory turns, and reduce operating costs
·        Generate, track and report key metrics to internal and external customers (sales by SKU, forecasting accuracy, variance identification and explanation)
·        Support sales efforts to establish new inventory programs for potential customers
·        Support special projects and assignments to enhance logistics performance or research alternative supply chains

Qualifications:
·        Bachelors degree required in Operation Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, Logistics, or General Business
·        Minimum 5 years Forecasting or Replenishment experience, at least 3 of which will include inventory management for globally-sourced items requiring 3+ months of lead time
·        Strong forecasting software experience, with a solid record of implementing and managing forecasting programs such as Logility, Red Prairie, SAP, etc (including demand forecasting, replenishment order generation, and safety stock calculations)
·        Advanced spreadsheet skills (especially Excel); strong database management skills a plus (including MS Access)
·        Familiarity with Southware ERP system a strong plus
·        Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
·        Ability to interface with and influence executives and hourly warehouse personnel
