Service and Maintenance Manager

Standard Textile Co. Inc. is recognized as the global leader in the manufacturing of healthcare, hospitality, & institutional textiles, apparel, surgical, incontinence care, decorative products & linen management services.  We are currently seeking a Service and Maintenance Manager to be based in Atlanta, GA.

 

The Service and Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing all activities of the Service and Maintenance Department including: preventative maintenance, emergency calls, phone support, and remote monitoring and customer relationships.

 

Major responsibilities include:Implement and enforce all company applicable policies and procedures.Develop strategic departmental goals and team objectives.Develop and maintain work order tracking system to provide statistics of all customer service calls.Manage all scheduling and resource allocation for contract and emergency service.Hire, train and evaluate staffing and employee reviews.Supervise electrical and mechanical field service technicians.Supervise training of associates to ensure a superior, technical skill base is maintained and improved.Develop and maintain communications within the department, and corporate level.Conduct periodical evaluations on the quality and quantity of work performed. Implement and enforce as well as maintain proper documentation of customer service records. Maintain customer satisfaction of systems provided and their operation.Enforce appropriate safety programs as they relate to service and maintenance at customer sites and travel. Oversee the maintenance of the systems installed at customer’s locations.Ensure that preventative maintenance programs are in place and audit to confirm that programs are being followed in a timely manner.  Manage vendor/ subcontractors as applicable.Invoice monthly S&M charges to all customers and track their timely payments.Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements include:Bachelors of Science degree is required, MBA is preferred.5 years plus in a service & maintenance management position is required, Experience with commercial laundries is preferredExcellent communication, organizational and computer skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructruction procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Familiarity with invoicing, basic accounting practices and team building skills.Must be target and goal driven.Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must be able to travel domestically for at least 5 days a month.
