** We are hiring for a Retail/E-Com Staffing & ER Manager **

 

As our Retail/ E Com Staffing & ER Manager, you’ll manage Retail and E-Commerce staffing and employee relations to meet short and long term business plans. You'll lead the day-to-day staffing and ER functions including the supervision of the Department’s staffing team, and provide guidance to hiring managers and store managers (local and remote locations) in delivering a full range of staffing and employee relations services to our business partners.

 

You'll oversee and manage the staffing and ER processes and assist in aligning Retail & E-Com HR’s people initiatives with broader HR department and corporate goals. You'll be responsible for developing staffing strategies and meeting hiring timeline objectives. This position partners with the leadership team to identify and target recruitment and retention strategies which meet the needs of the organization. You will implement staffing plans that ensure a strong talent flow for current and future vacancies. You will manage our job fair & college recruiting programs and ensure we are leveraging employment branding opportunities and building market presence.

 

You’ll also manage employee relations including responding to issues and complaints in a timely and effective way.  You’ll resolve complaints, counsel managers and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures and interpersonal communication.  In addition, you’ll investigate problems, such as: compliance line complaints, working conditions, and disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals and grievances.  In addition, throughout the consultative process, you'll build relationships and partnerships to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency.

 

You'll demonstrate expert knowledge in the substantive areas of Staffing, ER and core HR functions, and serve as an internal consultant to management.

Qualifications 

Requirements for the position include:

-  A Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

-  5+ years’ progressively responsible HR with experience managing others; demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing effective hiring & retention strategies, conducting investigations and HRIS applicant tracking experience required. 

-  Multi site, retail experience highly recommended.

-  Affiliation with human resources programs and HR organizations, and PHR/SPHR certification a plus.

-  Job requires hours that will exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week. Ability to work an extended schedule including nights, weekends and holidays exists.

-  Travel by airline and auto, domestically, estimated 25-45% of time. Overnight travel is required.

-  Strong negotiation and influence skills
