Retail Planner - Swim Division

The Retail Planner executes and develops margin, sales, and inventory plans with assigned SBU or accounts (department stores such as Macy’s or Dillard’s).    RESPONSIBILITIES:  Â· Work with Account Executive and account’s buying team to set and achieve sales, margin and inventory goals through the correct assortment and pricing strategy for each account and brand.· Develop, maintain and analyze Account Ladder plans.· Review weekly sales results from account’s selling reports.  · Monitor plans and OTD pricing, making callouts where necessary, to maximize sales and minimize margin giveback.· Maintain any markdown allowance tracking forms as needed by division.· Work with A/E and the Design/Merchandise group on a monthly/quarterly basis to share selling information, category information, sku count recommendation, and opportunities for the following season.  · Maintain thumbnail history of selling by style, as required by account/division.· Maintain and analyze monthly Mall Comp and EOM reporting, as required by account/division.· Create and maintain Demand sheets for replenishment product, as required by account/division.· Work closely with each account to develop size scales for SAO’s, assortment plans, as required by account/division.· Travel to accounts, trade shows, as required by account/division. REQUIREMENTS · Bachelor’s degree.· Minimum 3-5 years experience in retail/wholesale buying/planning.· High level of understanding of retail math, Excel and Word.· Excellent written and oral communication skills.· Ability to analyze problems and solve both financial and merchandise issues.· Ability to work in a team environment.· Ability to set priorities to accomplish task at hand.  This position is based in our Corporate office in Miami, Florida.    Interested in a Perry Ellis International, Inc.
