POSITION DESCRIPTION:  This role will require the analyst to prepare the application system specifications, develop, test, and implement efficient,cost effective application solutions within the PLM landscape:

*  Enhance/support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

*  Assist in the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems.

*  Facilitate business process analysis and re-engineering efforts for client PLM, New Product Introduction,

*  Commercialization, and Product Data Management processes.

*  Design and configure PLM software solutions to incorporate new business processes.

*  Train client personnel in PLM concepts and PLM software tool capabilities and functionality.

*  Perform data conversion design/loading activities.

*  Assist in designing and developing custom reports and queries.

*  Very minimal travel required.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

*1-3 years Java application development experience.

• Basic knowledge of Oracle.

• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.

• Knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Agile, PTC Windchill, Matrix One, Team Center, Eigner, Dassault, Optiva, etc.

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

• Effective with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

• Previous PDM/PLM systems experience preferred.

• 2 – 4 years previous experience with the PLM systems listed above, or

• 2 – 4 years work experience in the fields of New Product Introduction, Product Development, or Project and Portfolio Management.

• Experience with training and support of end users.

* FASHION Industry experience a major plus!
